Job Description - Marketing Specialist (Australian Telco)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in strategizing advertising and marketing initiatives, generating inbound leads, and overseeing our social media presence. With a focus on promoting our high-end business phone applications, fiber services, and hosted phone systems, the Marketing Specialist will drive brand awareness and customer engagement across various industry verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase sales targeting small to mid-size businesses across all industry verticals.
Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO optimization, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
Manage the company's CRM system, including data analysis, segmentation, and campaign automation.
Lead graphic design efforts to create visually compelling marketing materials, including website graphics, digital ads, and print collateral.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure that marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the marketing team.
Explore and implement email marketing and other marketing platforms to reach potential customers.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Must-Haves:
Proven Experience:

2+ years of experience in marketing for an

Australian telecommunications company , demonstrating a track record of successful campaigns and lead generation.
Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey messaging and engage with diverse audiences.
Strategic Thinker:

Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging market insights and trends.
Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
Budget Management:

Experience in effectively managing marketing budgets to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
Leadership:

Demonstrated leadership skills to collaborate with internal teams and effectively oversee marketing initiatives.
Nice-to-Haves:
Background in appointment-setting and lead generation activities.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and other digital marketing channels.
Industry Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of fiber services, hosted phone systems, and other telecommunication solutions to develop targeted marketing strategies.
Knowledgeable in SEO, website development, graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop and other editing tools), Lead Generation and marketing tools, and CRM systems (experience with PSA professional services automation preferred).
