Marketing Specialist - Proposals (RFP responses)

Your Role

As a Gensler Marketing Specialist, you will lead the development of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other deliverables daily, both in print and digital. You will be successful because you are skilled in responding to RFQs/RFPs/RFIs, have expertise InDesign with a strong graphic design ability, and impeccable organization and project management skills. 

What You Will Do

• Work with principals, senior staff, and other marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other thought leadership collateral in alignment with brand standards
• Participate and lead pursuit strategy and planning
• Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities, with a critical emphasis on graphic design capabilities
• Perform multiple marketing efforts against deadlines 
• Learn and understand Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and capabilities
• Maintain marketing collateral, resources, and information systems
• Work closely with other marketing team members to complete special projects and elevate the quality of our efforts

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• 7 - 10 years of related professional experience in a marketing position with responsibility for creating proposals in response to RFPs
• Knowledge of the business development proposal process (RFP/RFQ)
• Mastery of InDesign & creative and impactful graphic design skills creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
• Experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus; experience in an architectural design firm is especially valuable
• Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines

This role is not remote, we look forward to working with our new Marketing Specialist in our Washington, D.C. or Atlanta office.

*The estimated base salary range for this position in the Washington, D.C. is $75,000-95,000, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation is contingent on location and relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
