Marketing Specialist - TextMyGov

TextMyGov is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) startup that specializes in providing government agencies with smart-texting software to connect with their communities. We have over 1400 customers nationwide and are growing!

We are looking for a self-motivated Marketing Specialist to support the growth of our SaaS solution for city and county governments. In this role, you will ensure that marketing initiatives align with our brand vision, generate leads, and increase client engagement. You will develop strategic marketing plans, enhance our content and digital marketing efforts, and collaborate across departments to help drive our growth within the GovTech industry. This position is onsite in Logan, Utah. 

Responsibilities

• Creating, organizing, and launching monthly coordinated blog, email, and text campaigns 


• Create, run, and market webinars


• Optimize website performance (SEO/UX)


• Track, organize, and report customer data


• Update marketing materials (flyers, guides)
  


• Become an expert on TextMyGov's software


• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, senior management) to meet client needs


• Other assignments that may be made by management
  


• Meet with clients and manage marketing efforts of TextMyGov clients
  

Schedule

• Regular Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (hours may adjust depending on department needs)

Skills & Qualifications

• Marketing experience (3+ years preferred)


• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  


• Graphic design and web design experience


• Proficiency in marketing tools (Adobe Suite, Constant Contact, GA4 Analytics, Pipedrive, Microsoft Office, BigMarker)


• A customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills


• Familiarity with running online meetings and webinars


• Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively with other departments


• Excellent attention to detail


• Ability to research and understand municipal government websites (knowledge of municipal government industry is a plus)
