Master Automotive Technician, Mechanic

We’re looking for an energized Automotive Technician with strong knowledge of diagnostics, service, and repairs to join our Chicago team! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles that come into our repair facility. We’re looking for a team player who works collaboratively, communicates clearly, and can problem-solve effectively across different teams.

What you’ll do as an Automotive Technician:

  Act as a lead Automotive Technician, performing high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services

  
  


• 
  

  Complete all diagnostic and repair procedures, including engaging with drivers during vehicle intake

  
  


• 
  

  Assist in onboarding and training new Automotive Technicians, helping to upskill the team

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in alignment with system standards

  
  


• 
  

  Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful workplace in a dynamic environment

  
  

What we look for in an Automotive Technician:

• 
  

  5+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience in diagnostics, service, and repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Proven capability as an “A-Level” Automotive Technician

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with new vehicle dealer services and systems

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of methods, techniques, tools, and materials used in automotive service

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including OBD II and CAN systems

  
  


• 
  

  Basic computer proficiency for service documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Valid, unrestricted driver’s license

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to pass a drug test and background check

  
  


• 
  

  OEM and ASE certifications required

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Toyota and Kia vehicles preferred
