Master Carpenter

Description

Kalos Services is looking for an Master Carpenter to join our high-performing team. We seek craftsman-centric professionals with a proven track record in the construction field, with experience in both structural and finish installations, while exhibiting exceptional precision and craftsmanship. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with industry experts on complex projects. 

Schedule - Sunday - Thursday: Some weekend and afterhours work may be required with flexibility. Ability to Travel throughout the state of Florida will be required. 

Compensation:  $30 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Execute high-quality framing, trim, and finish carpentry with precision and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure exact execution.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using a variety of materials, ensuring durability and adherence to industry best practices.
• Work seamlessly with project managers, architects, and other trades to maintain project timelines and deliver superior craftsmanship.
• Operate and maintain advanced carpentry tools and equipment with expertise, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality control, proactively identifying and resolving any structural or aesthetic issues.
• Adapt to complex construction challenges, demonstrating problem-solving skills and expert craftsmanship in every project.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and industry codes, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
• Take ownership of projects, consistently delivering work that meets and exceeds client expectations

Requirements

• Proven expertise in framing, trim work, cabinetry, and custom woodwork with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications with precision.
• Mastery of hand and power tools, including saws, routers, planers, and measuring devices.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best construction practices.
• Experience collaborating with architects, project managers, and other skilled trades to deliver seamless results.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to on-site challenges with creative, solutions-based thinking.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
• Preferred: Formal apprenticeship, trade certification, or relevant technical training.                                                                                                  
• The role is hands-on; candidates should be comfortable installing equipment (lifting up to ~50 lbs),working on ladders, scaffolding, and motorized lift equipment. (safety equipment provided).
