Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude as well as familiarity in reading schematic diagrams to determine mechanical and electrical design requirements and associated layouts. For electrically focused roles: Prepare complex layouts, circuit diagrams, sketches and drawings relating to new and modified equipment specifications, as well as from customer engineering interpretation to the general order (CAD). For mechanically focused roles: Prepare complex layouts, coordinate bus connection details, sketches, 3-D models, flat files, and drawings using CAD 3D models or various other computer programs and software, relating to new and modified designs. Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices. Demonstrate advanced computer skills with ability to learn required software (Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Inventor, Design Automation, MAPICS). Interpret engineering work packages to develop designs and manufacturing information packages. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve complex design issues that may arise. Coordinate with different levels of the organization to ensure schedules are met. Detailed Bill of Material reviews for editing and accuracy. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects/assignments/duties. Associate's degree in an Engineering Technology or Electronics field with at least two (2) years relevant experience with electrical distribution or control products design, OR a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Relevant experience is defined as the use of computer-aided design software to create engineered drawings and/or experience and knowledge of the design and manufacturing of electrical distribution or control products. No relocation offered, only candidates within 50-mile radius of Greenwood SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Proficient in AutoCAD and other 3D engineering and design software programs. Ability to use required engineering software tools and other common computer software (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, etc.)
