This position will work within a team environment consisting of program management, technical, production, supply chain, finance and other supporting staff. \n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong teambuilding skills, exhibit strong leadership potential, and possess comprehensive verbal and written communication/presentation skills.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Supports the organization\u2019s goals by managing and coordinating the supply and demand of programs and the availability of items either manufactured or purchased that support meeting our customer\u2019s goals and expectations.\n\n * Create a valid and effective Master Production Schedule (MPS) that incorporates all dependencies, aligns to resource availability, and identifies and aligns program milestones with contractual need dates.\n\n * Responsible in analyzing material requirements with any on-hand available inventory.\n\n * Responsible for planning and coordinating the production build that supports the operational build schedule working with the appropriate factory management and production control personnel.\n\n * Monitor builds through the factory and report status to the program team(s).\n\n * Identify \u0026 validate the critical path, run performance and health check metrics.\n\n * Conduct trend analysis and report data, e.g. late start/finish, forecast date impacts, manage program schedule margin, and changes to critical path(s). \n\n * Monitor and develop work around utilizing schedule acceleration techniques to achieve additional margin, monitor \u0026 de-conflict internal and external influences to resources and the critical path.\n\n * Provide schedule visibility, reporting, and schedule analyses, perform risk analyses, and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.\n\n * Work with the technical lead, functional managers and Program managers to identify internal and external dependencies, milestones and deliverables.\n\n * Frequent use of industry scheduling best practices, and specific Scheduling Tool properties and functions.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Must have 14 years of work experience. Will consider a Bachelor\u2019s degree with 10+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master\u0027s degree with 8+ years of related professional experience. \n\n * Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Master Production Schedule (MPS), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience.\n\n * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point, Visio).\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field. \n\n * 5+ years production planning/scheduling experience.\n\n * Previous experience with SAP and Costpoint\n\n * Experience working with Costpoint production schedules.\n\n * Experience working with Sync Manufacturing.\n\n * Experience supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $102,000.00 - $153,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
