Master Scheduler

Description

  Ensure the production process goes smoothly by making sure all the appropriate parts are in place and ready to go.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
• Plan, schedule and coordinate of the company’s products
• Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
• Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management
• Handle production disruptions and productivity problems
• Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of purchasing, production, material expediting, and MRP/ ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP Software Global Shop a plus but not required
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• 1 year of management experience preferred
