Wave Media Agency is seeking Matchday Freelancer/Social Creator- Soccer across a variety of cities to support social capture at key matches in 2025 and 2026.  This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in creating social content, a creative flair for capturing on-field action at stadiums, and a passion for soccer with an interest in building a career in social media. This position is a matchday specific freelancer role- with mutually agreed upon dates/matches still to be determined.

Responsibilities:

• Attend a single/multiple soccer matches as assigned- delivering real-time social content from the venue to our social/ editing team
• Film pitchside (on iPhone) all pregame, during and postgame action, while following a specific shot-list
• Deliver/upload all footage in real-time using the agreed upon delivery method (ie Slack/Dropbox etc)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience covering social/matchdays for professional/college sports.
• A strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and their respective video content preferences and formats
• Strong interest and knowledge of soccer, on both the national team and club side.
• Ability to travel to-from the venue, and follow a specific shotlist as requested.
• Iphone 14Pro or Newer
