Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient handling, moving, and storing of materials within the inventory warehouse. They will work closely with other team members to maintain the flow and organization of materials, for efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Implement the Lean Conversion & Daily Management principle to create standard work conditions for handling, moving, and storing materials. Completing and implementing process changes and updates, following the Fortive Business Systems (FBS) procedures.


• Inventory Management: Use the Inventory Management at Gemba (IMAG) framework to improve performance through daily management and problem-solving. Participating in Material Audits following our Material Audit Standard Work process, including fixing minor issues as they are identified.


• Kanban System: Apply the Dynamic Kanban system for a pull system involving order entry, sequencing, and setup wheel processes.


• Inventory Control: Ensure that post-factory inventory is effectively controlled in the distribution center, ensuring that all materials are accounted for and in their correct locations Post Factory


• Supplier Management: Coordinating with suppliers to handle material delivery through supply agreements and scorecards, thereby ensuring a smooth material flow in the inventory.
   

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 1-2 year of related experience.


• Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment preferred!


• Prior experience working in material and Kanban execution environments preferred.


• Experience working with Oracle preferred.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 35,700.00 - 66,300.00
