Material Estimating Analyst

Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by: Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy, interfacing with Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Program Office, and Pricing Organizations Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements Ensuring delivery schedule adherence Supporting proposal reviews with detailed Bills of Materials and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), including accompanying supporting data Preparing Bill of Material pricing templates to support proposal-specific pricing models Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal estimating process Preparing material price analyses to support business unit and GSC leaders in decision-making as it pertains to specific pricing proposals Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications, while ensuring TINA compliance during all aspects of the proposal process Interacting with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Pricing, and Business Management Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master's Degree with 3 years of experience Proposal experience within government contracting Knowledge of FAR and DFAR Prior pricing or material estimating experience
