Material Handler

1. Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed.  Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
2. Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security.
3. Provide raw material and/or parts onto assembly worktables
4. Keep designated work areas supplied with material.
5. Move materials from work area when completed or when assisting in setting up a new assignment.
6. Stack and load material onto skids.
7. Deliver materials to the warehouse with delivery tickets, utilizing a hand or electric truck.
8. Assist in the annual physical inventory or cycle counts as required.
9. Perform other duties as necessary.
10. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
11. Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
12. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
13. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:
  • Hand trucks
  • Pallet jacks
• Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Basic math & computer skills
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment preferred.

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.
