Role: Material Handler
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $18-25/hour
Location: Des Moines, IA

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials, including loading and unloading of trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy objects, and excellent organizational skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization and develop your skills in material handling.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
• Inspect materials for defects or damages.
• Maintain records of material movement and inventory levels.
• Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.
• Ensure that all material handling equipment is in good working condition.
• Follow proper storage procedures for materials.
