Summary:
The Material Handler position has a variety of different job functions such.as but not limited to; checking incoming freight, pick and packing of outgoing material, and processing external paperwork for shipment through Various domestic and international carriers and forwarders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for checking inbound material from outside vendors. and internal shipping points that forward stock material in Boston for shipments to domestic and intermational carriers.
- Responsible for pulling and packing finished good from the shelves and processing them for shipment.
- Process domestic and international paperwork for outgoing material
- Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count process
- Work with Inventory Control personnel to label and store incoming materials.
- 1-3 years of experience is ideal.
Shift:
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on their feet for more than 4 hours straight.
- Must be able to move Lead crates and operate a pallet jack.
- Must be able to bend up and down frequently throughout the day.
- Must have the ability to walk up and down the stairs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / Excel)
- HS Diploma
