Job Summary:

Allied Printing Services, Inc. currently is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Material Handler to play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations by managing the movement of materials and products in our bindery department. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Retrieve materials from inventory based on work orders, ensuring accurate quantities and specifications. 
• Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated areas.
• Responsible for safeguarding the material during transit. 
• Safely and efficiently load and unload materials using proper equipment.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Reviews production methods, equipment performance and quality of product and recommends changes or modifications in working conditions or procedures as necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse setting. 
• Reach Truck experience preferred.
• Hand Truck experience required.
•  Strong attention to detail. 
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, take direction from superiors and follow company procedure.
• Teamwork, energy level, productivity, quality focus, self-motivated, organization, time management, attendance and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience as a material handler or similar role in a warehouse setting. 
• Allied Training: 3-6 months.

Physical Requirements: Standing-50%, Walking-50%, Lifting/Carrying 25-50 lbs., Physical ability to move heavy objects 500-750 lbs. by pallet jack, stand, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods. 

Job Type: Full Time 
Shift Available & Schedule: 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:00am)
