What Will You Do?

The Material Handler will support Chart's fabrication shop.  This role works Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.

•  


• raw materials and finished goods within the plant and storage yard


• Ensure yard is organized and well maintained


• Regularly operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment to complete tasks adhering to company safety practices


• Maintain a clean work area and practice general housekeeping standards


• Perform all tasks to ISO standards and requirements


• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Moderate noise level in the work environment

Your Experience Should Be...

• Some manufacturing experience is highly desirable


• Previous forklift experience highly desirable


• Understanding of ISO 9001 procedures


• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed:

• High school diploma or GED, preferred
