Material Handler

This entry-level role moves, stages, stores, and supplies materials within a warehouse, distribution, or production environment.

What the job feels like
Practical, active, team-based and performed on site. This is an on-site position. The work is performed in a store, stockroom, warehouse, distribution center, production facility, or similar physical work environment, with regular face-to-face interaction with customers, coworkers, supervisors, drivers, or other onsite teams as applicable.

Key areas of responsibility

·       Move materials to assigned locations

·       Load, unload, stage, and replenish inventory

·       Verify labels, quantities, and locations

·       Maintain safe pathways and organized material areas

Qualifications & approach: A strong entry-level candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to communicate clearly with others, attentive to accuracy and safety, and willing to learn established procedures. Prior experience is helpful but is not required for many roles when employer training is provided.
