Our differentiated battle management and cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Material Handler 2 based full-time on-site out of our Rolling Meadows, IL facility.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll get to Do:\n\nThe Material Handler 2:\n\n * Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving. \n\n * Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. \n\n * Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand. \n\n * Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in managing inventory.\n\n * Experience with data entry and maintenance\n\n * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.\n\n * U.S. Citizenship required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Experience using a forklift\n\n * Intermediate Proficiency in Excel\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You \u2013 \n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
