Material Handler / Torch Cutting Position

                               Material Handler / Torch Cutter Needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate oxy-fuel torch to cut scrap metal, beams, or other materials to size.


• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.


• Sort and organize materials by grade, size, or type.


• Inspect materials for quality and safety compliance before and after cutting.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating a torch or working with metals (required).


• Previous experience in a warehouse, scrapyard, or industrial setting.


• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in outdoor or hot conditions.


• Familiarity with safety standards, PPE, and handling hazardous materials.


• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills:

• Forklift and/or crane experience (a plus).


• Knowledge of scrap metal types or steel grades.


• Welding experience (not required but helpful).

Hours: M-F 8a-5p Must be Able to Work Mandatory OT
