Material Handler/Forklift Operator - Hiring Urgently

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, movement, and storage of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products within our chemical manufacturing facility

**Night Shift** 7PM
-7AM
- 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.

Pay: $23.00/hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, intermediates, and packaging materials, and verify quantities against purchase orders and shipping documents

- Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment as needed

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and transactions using inventory management software or manual tracking systems

- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, procurement, and quality control, to coordinate material movements and resolve any issues or concerns

- Support customer"s schedule through production coordination.

- Maintain housekeeping and safe operations

- Must be able to lift up to 55 lb. buckets/drums

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred

- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical industry.

- Experience operating standup/sit down forklifts, cherry pickers/order pickers, and/or pallet jacks

- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day

- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills

- Spanish speaking is a plus!
