Material Handler-Packaging Department-2nd Shift

Responsible for ensuring packaging lines run effectively, including but not limited to:

• Transporting the correct bins of products to the lines (heavy lifting required-up to 60 lbs) 


• Constantly keeping the hopper full of product, help with labeling boxes, relocating empty bins to the designated area (bending, leaning, lifting throughout the 8-hour shift)


• Taking finished goods to the designated warehouse area


• Identifying and reporting issues to the line leader


• Ensuring the area is organized, free of congestion, and clean throughout the shift


• Following all SQF, GMP, and safety standards


• Helping the line leader get the correct product, bags, boxes, and anything needed for the line


• Assisting the line leader with machine cleaning

Qualifications, Education Requirements

•       High school diploma or equivalent

•       Must be eligible for US employment

•       Must be 18 years or older

          Preferred Skills

•       Food manufacturing experience, will train

•       Bilingual a plus, not required
