Material Handler/Yard Laborer
Steel Shipping & Receiving | Heavy Labor | Outdoor Work | Full-Time

Miscellaneous Metals is seeking a dependable, hardworking Material Handler/Yard Laborer to support our shipping and receiving operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working both indoors and outdoors, moving and organizing steel materials for delivery to job sites.

What You’ll Do

Load and unload trucks with steel materials using proper equipment and safe handling practices
Pull and stage materials for delivery
Organize yard and shop materials
Assist with receiving and placing incoming shipments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

Able to perform physical labor (lift up to 80 lbs)
Consistent attendance and punctuality: must reliably report to work on time for a 6:30 AM start
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Team player who follows directions and stays productive throughout the shift
Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
Previous warehouse, construction, or labor experience preferred

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime may be available

Pay & Benefits

$18–$24/hour, depending on experience

Additional Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role
