**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
* Provides leadership to ensure employees demonstrate appropriate work skills, technical accuracy, efficiency and conformity to company policies.
* Meets with supervisor to determine daily and weekly work priorities and adjusts work activities accordingly.
* Serves as contact person for other team leaders and management team to answer questions or concerns affecting manufacturing questions.
* Relays and shares information with employees and other departments in a timely manner.
* Helps new employees learn required job skills.
* Assists supervisor in providing positive and negative employee feedback through written conversations and notes to file.
* Assists employees with difficult or unusual situations, seeking guidance from supervisor and/or HR as needed.
* Administers general preventative maintenance duties utilizing the maintenance team.
* Sets up and plans daily production, assigns employee assignments and rotation schedules.
* Performs simple repairs and equipment problem diagnosis.
* May at times monitor and prioritize orders per scheduling department.
* Works with department Leaders to delegate the activities of full line of employees in order to optimize response output and minimize downtime.
* Assists in developing less experienced team members.
* May be required to perform other duties and functions or assist in other departments as needed depending on the needs of the business.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Leads and plans a team of workers
* Monitors inventory levels of glass, vinyl, aluminum, hardware and accessories
* Documents daily performance

* Must have good vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions.
* Must have good awareness of surroundings.
* Must be in good physical condition, must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc.) to perform essential job functions.
* Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
* Ability to work while standing for a long period of time
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to focus and to differentiate between colors and shades of colors.
* Ability to work in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments.
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:**
* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Experience in manufacturing and leadership preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of electrical/electronic, mechanic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Valid drivers license with class E qualification and clean driving record.
* Experience in operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.
* Must actively participate as a member of the team and be willing to maintain high levels of productivity, occasionally sustaining longer working hours when necessary.
* Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements.
* Attention to detail and established procedures, along with being well organized.
* Solid English language, reading and writing skills.
* Must have solid math and computation skills.
**PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:**
