Falcon Steel, a full-line steel service center in Springfield, MO, is seeking a diligent and reliable Material Loader to join our team. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and production services. The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious individual with experience in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  Load and unload various steel materials, including bars, angles, channels, and plates, from incoming and outgoing trucks.

  
  


• 
  

  Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, to move and stage materials safely and efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Verify and organize materials, ensuring accurate inventory records.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare and secure materials for transport, ensuring loads are properly bundled and ready for delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
  

  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or steel service center environment is highly preferred.


• Proven ability to operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.


• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) repeatedly.


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
