Material Management Specialist III

Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated individuals for a Material Management Specialist II at our Fort Supply location! Help us make a difference in the lives of all Oklahomans.  About the Position:  The Material Management Specialist III receives, issues, ships and arranges stock in proper location. Inspects items for conformance with specifications. Acts as liaison to the agency purchasing agent/Central Purchasing. Confers with department heads, vendors and outside agencies concerning purchases, deliveries and acceptability of supplies. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of storage methods and procedures; of inventory methods and techniques and maintaining detailed inventory records; of warehousing practices and techniques; of stock handling; of the operation of warehouse equipment; and of stock identification methods.  Ability is required to store and warehouse a variety of supplies; to maintain detailed inventory records; to maintain accurate warehouse records; and to follow oral and written instructions.  Skill is required to operate a fork lift.

Qualifications:

Level II:  Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of Three years experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work, and issuance of material; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Material Management Specialist III for our Fort Supply Location!

Special Requirements:  

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background. 

• Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.  

• Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. 

• (if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
