- Scheduling production in the short term horizon based on the S&OE processes - Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting - Movement of materials through the facility - Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation -Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant's operations by deploying lean material flow. -Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network -Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network ( schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan) -Responsible for escalation of of material availability to the COE and Network teams -Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan -Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. -Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping -Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network -Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling This role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan Bachelor's degree from accredited institution Five (5)+ years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment Three (3)+ years of manager of people experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offer for this position. Only candidates currently residing within a 50 mile radius of Fayetteville, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution SAP, Kinaxis ERP knowledge preferably by current business systems In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product APICS CPIM Certification is desirable Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate team members to drive for results
