Job Description - Material Transport Handler

Position Overview: Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
Job Responsibilities

Accurately picks parts for production shop orders or customer sales orders.
Counts weighs or measures items to compare identifying info and variety against bills, invoices or other records.
Operates material handling equipment. Forklift to pull large palletized boxes from high locations
Work functions include Pick face replenishment, inventory put away, and consolidation of inventory in the warehouse.
Move materials from company locations via passenger vehicle or 26’ box truck (less than 26,000lbs).
Follow DOT regulations on inspections, maintenance, and driver’s log.
Can prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping.
Performs other duties including but not limited to- Returning stock to warehouse, assisting receiving department, and general warehouse functions

Qualifications

HS diploma/GED
Valid Driver’s license required with clean driving record.
Previous experience in warehouse or shipping, and experience with job duties listed above
Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs
Ability to pass D.O.T. physical.
