Job Description - Materials and Process (M&P) Engineering Technician (Level 3/4)
Proficient with interpretation of Engineering models / drawings High school diploma with 4 years of related composites aerospace manufacturing experience Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company Possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated experience in leadership of teams in resolving complex manufacturing issues Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and mentor less experienced technicians Highly regarded by management and peers for composite knowledge and expertise High school diploma with 6 years of related composites aerospace manufacturing experience In depth knowledge and proficiency with composite materials and manufacturing processes Excellent interpersonal communication skills Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company Possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated experience in leadership of teams in resolving complex manufacturing issues Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and mentor less experienced technicians Highly regarded by management and peers for composite knowledge and expertise SME (Subject Matter Expert) of Composite material and manufacturing technologies (including bonded and fastened assembly methods) experience Desire to work in a “team first” environment Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment as part of a multi-discipline team Ability to prepare sound presentations in support of a technical position Effective leadership of failure investigations to achieve root cause and corrective action Ability to work independently and use judgment to make appropriate decisions that support overall project objectives Ability to drive projects to completion Ability to partner with leadership at all levels Able to coordinate and assemble a team to meet program objectives Able to deal effectively with stress and conflict Ability to trouble shoot problems and resolve issues quickly Design and fabricate complex production aids Execute Work Orders / Project assignments
