Job Description - Materials Clerk




Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Materials Clerk who will be responsible for receiving freight, maintaining, receiving records, greeting sales representatives, sorting incoming mail from the Post Office and in\-house printing in the Print Shop. While providing a positive role model and customer service to end users within the facility.







The responsibilities of the Materials Clerk are:



  • Greet and check in all sales representatives, while directing them to the appropriate personnel office. Answer all phone calls politely and professionally, expediting all calls.

  • Assist with checking in of freight, printing worksheets, receiving documents, and assisting with labeling products with proper delivery points. Maintaining all PO’s, receipts and signed receivers.

  • Sort incoming mail that is picked up from the Post Office, mail that is delivered and inter\-office mail. Pick up outgoing mail from the mail campus and off\-site locations per the mail schedule. All outgoing mail is returned to the Print Shop for pickup from the third party vendor.

  • Prepare printed materials professionally that are ordered by various departments.

  • Ensure that problems or concerns regarding the Materials Management Department and other related areas are communicated to the Leadership Team of the Materials Department.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team of the Materials Management Department.

  • Deliver mail to off site locations as needed.






Requirements







In order to apply for this job you must meet the following requirements:







  • 2 years of office experience.

  • Experience with PO's.

  • Texas Driver's License.

  • Clear driving record.

  • Ability to drive a truck.

  • High school diploma or higher.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Must be able to pass a pre\-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Must be able to obtain your immunization records.
