3form is the leading manufacturer of award-winning translucent sustainable materials and solutions for the Architecture + Design industry. The company focuses on producing high-quality materials with a low environmental impact. We’re seeking a proactive, reliable, and meticulous Materials Consultant/Sales Representative based in Maryland. In this role, you will support Maryland's designers, architects, contractors, dealers, and end-users. You will work closely with 3form’s internal project support staff on sampling, quoting, technical services, and project management.
Position Description:
Conduct 13 high-quality client meetings every week. Meeting types include in-person and virtual project-specific meetings, product presentations, AIA/IDCEC CEU presentations, custom sample drop-offs, and library updates.
Build long-term, positive relationships with firms and individuals based on mutual respect, competence, and general likeability.
Maintain and refine existing systems to track projects from client interest through specification, construction, and completion (sampling -> quoting -> ordering -> installation -> imagery).
Handle field calls, give out budget pricing, and create projects and customers in the online system.
Develop technical proficiency in 3form products to answer standard client questions and concerns.
Attend and participate in a weekly team sales call.
Attend annual sales conferences.

You are a seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality and a tenacious approach. Our salescycle can be longer, so you have to be willing to work with accounts until the client has a need.
You enjoy building relationships and fostering rapport with clients.
You have killer time management skills. Materials Consultants enjoy a great sense of autonomy. To be successful, you must organize and balance your activities appropriately (prospecting, selling, and account management) to drive results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Interior Design/Interior Architecture or Construction Management.
3-5 years of experience in remote sales with a proven track record
The ability to read architectural drawings is preferred
A business development mindset focused on aggressively growing sales
Strong emotional intelligence with experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
Successful track record in driving growth in revenue, number of projects
Ability to manage projects and problem-solve specifiers’ concerns and/or questions
Authentic, energetic, effective communicator
Physical Requirements
Capable of lifting 35 lbs in and out of a car or other transportation
Capable to carry and walking with 35lbs including walking up and down stairs
