Position Summary: The Material Control Associate I is responsible maintaining production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies and staging finished product. The products consist primarily of roll on/roll off palletized systems used for the transport of people and equipment in cargo aircraft throughout the world. The Material Control Associate III will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to help out in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of Receiving and Inventory
• Minimum of 2-3 years' Shipping experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form, internally and externally.
• Advanced Computer skills using Microsoft Office
• Detail and goal oriented
• Skilled in analyzing Information
• Deadline-Oriented

Work Environment Requirements:

• May require walking throughout day.
• May require standing for long periods throughout the day.
• May require light lifting generally less than 25 pounds
• May work overtime and or weekends if needed

Work Conditions:

• This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position, warehouse.
