Job Description - Materials Control Specialist

KDF Technologies, LLC. ?is a leading manufacturer of PVD (physical vapor deposition) capital equipment to the microelectronics, medical, thin film circuits, and semiconductor markets. Located in Northern NJ we serve a variety of industries and companies from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.

Overview of Responsibilities:
KDF Technologies, LLC is seeking a Materials Control Specialist to perform our production scheduling and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of creating and executing manufacturing orders, driving MRP and purchasing items to fulfill production and inventory requirements.

Key Job Elements:
Create manufacturing orders and coordinate release to manufacturing based on production schedules.
Handle all purchasing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Coordinate production control and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products.
Drive MRP system to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems
