Materials Coordinator I

The Materials Coordinator I supports product development by assisting in the purchasing, tracking, and handling of prototype parts and materials. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic material handling, inventory counts, and general hardware lab support 
• Assist with ordering prototype materials and services, following standard procedures 
• Track prototype material orders, inventory, tools, and equipment with guidance from senior staff 
• Support engineers by preparing simple kits and delivering materials as directed 
• Resolve routine order or delivery issues with support from management 
• Learn and apply company processes and systems 

Core Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent  

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment  

• Basic knowledge of electronic and mechanical parts 

• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn ERP systems 

Preferred Requirements:

• Internship or warehouse/procurement exposure 

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Atlassian JIRA 

• Experience in an aerospace environment 

Travel: 

• Some local travel will be required 

• Reliable transportation or ability to travel to vendor sites for delivery duties 

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
