Materials Handler

Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems is seeking a self-motivated Materials Handler to ensure orderly production and distribution of materials and supplies and to stage finished product for final distribution. This role will also be responsible for maintaining and documenting proper inventory levels for production and shipping

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.

•  Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, 

recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.

•  Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on 

production orders.

•  Locate and pack materials for shipping.

•  Document materials and record units delivered and location of units.

•  Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply 

codes, lot numbers and quantities.

•   Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and 

securing products.

•  Document product shipment by recording units shipped.

•  Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator 

repairs.

•  Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery/vehicles to move items and

materials onto and off trucks, loading docks and alternate locations.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•  High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

•  A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

•  Knowledge of inventory management systems and basic math skills.

•  Excellent physical fitness with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to a 

maximum of 100 pounds.

•  Availability to work overtime, including weekends and evenings.

•  Forklift certification or other material handling certifications a plus.

•  Valid drivers’ license required.
