We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Materials Management - Buyer to join our Materials Management Department. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.

*This position can include standing, walking and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Materials Management - Buyer- Places orders for all Departments - which can include performing inventory management, receiving of goods, handling of supplies, expiration management, customer service, working within our supply chain software.

Shift:

• Full-Time - 80 hours every two weeks


• Shift - M-F 8:00am-4:30pm

Materials Management Buyer is responsible for:

• Ordering, shipping, receiving, distributing, and maintaining medical and nonmedical organizational supplies for the departments.


• Count par level using handheld devices, maintain and distribute stock par levels to hospital and clinics.


• Pick and replenish supplies to all par location nursing units.


• Performs departmental inventory issues and automatic replenishment functions adjusting par levels in accordance with established guidelines, and in collaboration with unit customers.


• Reviews inventory for products with limited shelf life and ensures proper rotation or return to result in minimal loss to inventory value as a result of expiration.


• Maintains appearance of storeroom inventory, including ensuring adequate space and current labeling for each product.


• Can include - mailroom functions, shipping, and receiving functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good communication skills


• High School Diploma or Equivalent
