Materials Management Courier

Location: Monticello, Illinois

Shift: Day shift

Schedule: M-Th 9-5:30, F 8:30-5:00

Job Summary: This position requires the delivery of supplies, medications, mail, money, and materials to all Kirby Medical Center’s  facilities. Daily pick-up of off-site clinic laboratory specimens will be delivered to the hospital laboratory for processing. Unloading of delivery trucks and various other tasks of a similar nature may be assigned at the discretion of the director of Materials Management.

Regulatory Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Drivers license required

Job Responsibilities:

• Operates Kirby's vehicle within the bounds of the law
• Delivers couriered items with accuracy and timeliness
• Delivers lab specimens to hospital laboratory in a safe, secure and timely manner
• Processes paperwork for deliveries if applicable
• Adheres to provided Courier schedule.
• Adheres to Daily duties list.
