Materials Operations Manager - Supply Chain

Eaton\u2019s Electrical division is currently seeking a Materials Operations Manager - Supply Chain to join our team in Richmond, VA - relocation assistance within the US will be provided. \n\nThe Materials Operations Manager - Supply Chain is responsible for managing the internal materials \u0026 scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $160,000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Manage materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant\u2019s operations by deploying lean material flow.\n * Administration of direct/indirect and Maintenance, Repair \u0026 Other (MRO) purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards. \n * Direct purchasing of materials from engineer to order products focusing on strategic partnerships\n * Generate short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network\n * Monitor execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan)\n * Escalate material availability to the Center of Excellence (COE) and Network teams\n * Drive forecast attainment aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) resulted from the Supply, Inventory, \u0026 Operations Planning (SIOP) plan\n * Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.\n * Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments,Materials Management Assessment (MMA) / Operational Assessment (OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping \n * Maintain target inventory levels and meeting On Time Delivery (OTD) goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network\n * Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling\n * Point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall Supply, Inventory, \u0026 Operations Planning (SIOP) plan \n\n\n\n## This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree from accredited institution\n * Minimum five (5) years\u2019 combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment\n * Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience\n\n\n\n## You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:\n\n * Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes\n * Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution\n * SAP knowledge\n * In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product\n * APICS CPIM Certification is desirable\n\n\n\n## We will not consider candidates who:\n\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
