Celerion is seeking a Materials Specialist to join our supply chain team in our Lincoln, NE corporate headquarters.
Do you hate being spending all day at a desk and want a position that will keep you moving while allowing you to work with a variety of people? If so, this could be the job for you! Our 3 story facility includes a full clinic, multiple laboratories, office space, and a warehouse.
This position is responsible for ensuring materials are available for operations. This role also assists with the coordination of the warehouse and receiving activities including putting away, picking up, ordering and delivery of material to internal customers.
Schedule:
This is a full time benefited position working 8am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday. We are seeking candidates who are available to work 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory counts in the warehouse; record receipt and disbursements of all inventory; use inventory control computer programs
- Coordinate the re-order of inventory materials to ensure availability of supply
- Physically receiving and placement of material deliveries in the warehouse.
- Proactively managing of the warehouse, including date, batch sensitive and obsolete materials.
- Management and replenishment of Kanbans and other point of use material systems.
- Inventory reporting using Excel and Word: cycle counting, slow moving material, and obsolesce.
- Maintain excellent communication with warehouse team members to ensure ongoing changes and problems are addressed and resolved
- Work cross functionally to improve warehouse operations in support of superior customer service
- Daily housekeeping of warehouse and internal material storage locations
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required; 2 year college degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, handling inventory, warehouse work, or inventory management preferred
- Excellent communication skills and follow-up, with great attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel is required
- Previous experience of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP
- Valid Driver’s license, clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent squatting, kneeling, stooping, and bending
- Ability to push /pull up to 100lbs
