Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Materials Supervisor. This role is based out of Greenwood, SC. \n\nThis is a leadership position managing all Inventory Control operations and personnel. Role will oversee and direct activities involving the receipt, inspection and accountability of incoming materials in accordance with established requirements.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n\u2022 Supervise Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling personnel. \n\u2022 Manage all aspects of inventory control. \n\u2022 Establish and maintain Storeroom processes. \n\u2022 Leverage 5-S to optimize space utilization, organization, and efficiency in the Storeroom. \n\u2022 Execute ELSS \u2013 Pull for the Plant \n\u2022 Manage and maintain an effective Cycle Counting program and drive root-cause issue resolution. \n\u2022 Manage slow moving, excess, and obsolete inventories. \n\u2022 Implement new product industrialization and non-conforming short and long term, material solutions. \n\u2022 Coordinate process between Front-End Operations and Material Planners. \n\u2022 Foster a collaborative and cooperative team environment within the department and cross-functionally. \n\u2022 Ensure safe work practices within the department. \n\u2022 Communicate with suppliers on order and delivery requirements as needed.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022 The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required. \n\u2022 High School Diploma with 10 years of supervision experience in a supply chain function or Bachelor\u2019s degree and three years of supervision experience in a supply chain function. \n \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 A Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, materials, supply chain, inventory control, or operations/logistics is preferred \n\u2022 Six Sigma Greenbelt certification \n\u2022 Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing background \n\u2022 SAP Experience \n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Leadership and sense of urgency: ability to drive positive results in a complex environment \n\u2022 Demonstrated sound decision-making skills \n\u2022 Strong analytical thinking skills, intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability \n\u2022 Data-driven, disciplined, objective, and detail-oriented \n\u2022 Ability to multi-task and react quickly under pressure \n\u2022 Advanced computer knowledge with MS Office Applications\n\n## ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\n\n\u2022 Periodically provide support for off hours and weekends \n\u2022 Provide support to production by spending time on the shop floor\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
