Math Teacher

Description

High School Math Teacher – Full-time

Teaching math to high school students in GR 9-12, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Probability & Statistics and Personal Finance. 

Morning, lunch, and other day-to-day duties as needed. 

Special education certificate encouraged but not required (compensation as appropriate).

Requirements

• Pennsylvania teaching certificate for secondary level math. 
• Previous experience working with at risk students encouraged but not required.  
• Participate in staff in-services.
• Participate in applicable conferences, debriefings and scheduled meetings.
• Monitor the lunchroom, hallways and lavatory as needed.
• Occasional field trips.
• Monitor recreation time as needed.
• Attend Parents’ Nights and Parent Conferences.
• Punctuality and attendance reflective of Lakeside guidelines and Vantage Academy’s school schedule.
• Assist with lunch duties as scheduled.
