ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver Math education to High School students (Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics)
• Lead students to an understanding of the required concepts and applications in a given course
• Collaborate with other STEM teachers in maintaining a strong learning environment
• Design lessons and assessments according to curriculum objectives, ensuring each student meets learning objectives
• Attend to necessary teaching protocols, i.e. attendance, online grade books, student supervision, participation in school community events
• Apply Biblical principles to lessons and student learning experiences

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum BA/BS Degree in an area related to STEM educational field
• ACSI Certificate
• CA State Teaching Credential (preferred, may be working toward this)
• A well-grounded Christ-follower with a call to the ministry of teaching
• A passion to work with young people
