Mathematics Teacher

Description

Gilbert Christian Schools is searching for a full-time high school Mathematics Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. In addition to formal training in mathematics education, expertise and experience teaching the subject from a biblical worldview is important for this position. In addition to teaching in their content area, GCHS teachers are disciplers of their students in all contexts including serving as a small group leader weekly. Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mathematics education, mathematics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g., State certification, ACSI certificate) in mathematics, a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level.

Requirements

• Candidates with an advanced degree or graduate-level coursework in a science field who can be approved to teach college-level dual enrollment courses are highly desired
• Experience in and commitment to teaching mathematics from a biblical worldview
• Knowledge of effective teaching methodologies, instructional technology, assessment methods, classroom management rapport building, and mentoring
• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint clearance care required
