Manages the daily operations of the assigned department, unit, or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, labor utilization and retention, payroll, and student engagements.Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and stock supplies.Assesses the quality of patient care delivered. Provides patient and family centered care. Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution.
Bachelors: Nursing (Required)BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS), Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate, Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years nursing experience and one (1) year supervisory experience.Additional Education Info: Bachelors Degree in Nursing or enrolled in an accredited program
