McLeod North Myrtle Beach Express Care APP (NP/PA) - Weekend Coverage

McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join McLeod Express Care North Myrtle Beach. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys treating acute and urgent care needs in a fast-paced, collaborative outpatient setting while helping expand access to care throughout the Grand Strand community.

In this role, you will evaluate and treat a variety of acute conditions and minor injuries commonly seen in an express care setting. You'll work alongside an experienced team dedicated to delivering convenient, high-quality care to patients during expanded weekend hours.

You'll join a welcoming and professional team consisting of:

• 4 Advanced Practice Providers plus collaborative oversight with supervising physician
• Dedicated clinical and support staff
• Position Highlights:
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• No Call Required
• 100% Outpatient Practice
• This unique weekend-focused schedule is ideal for providers seeking flexibility while maintaining a meaningful clinical role within a respected and growing healthcare organization.

Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage a wide range of urgent and acute care conditions, including:

• Upper respiratory infections
• Flu/COVID testing and treatment
• Minor injuries
• Sprains and strains
• Laceration repair
• Skin conditions
• Urinary tract infections
• Minor orthopedic complaints
• Average patient volume is approximately 35 patients per day.

Onboarding Expectations:

• Providers receive a thorough onboarding process that includes Epic training, clinic operations education, provider shadowing, and supervised patient care prior to independent practice.

Ideal Candidate:

• We welcome both new graduate and experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or primary care is preferred but not required. We're seeking providers who are team-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable managing common acute care presentations in an outpatient environment.
