Job Overview
The MDM Specialist II is responsible for leading and executing data projects; creating processes and procedures to better enable quality data; serving as the lead in daily master data maintenance activities and the SME for the different data domains. This position will also assist with testing and executing the various Master Data applications system enhancements where project work may require mass data profiling and cleansing activities. The MDM Specialist II will conduct proactive master data compliance and data integrity reviews, across multiple data domains as well as provide support with complex business processes, collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of data is timely and within the expected level of quality. This position will also assist in building, administering, and governing educational business process improvements, training information, and department documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides training and guidance on data analysis, data creation, data maintenance, and master data dependencies by demonstrating learned methods and experiences; sharing knowledge, skills, and shortcuts to help increase the team understanding of systems and process complexities. This is done in order to increase department productivity and ensure accuracy in all tasks completed
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert to internal stakeholders regarding master data systems and processes by leading troubleshooting activities across data domains and business processes
Communicate the processes for the data domains and how it supports the organization's business processes during meetings that require Master Data expertise and involvement
Administers the creation, analysis, and updating of large data sets while applying a deep understanding of the business process to assess data quality issues; the thousands of fields of data and the varying rules for population depending on the type of record being analyzed, created, or changed, and ensuring data validation is performed on all completed data loads before and after submission
Leads daily master data maintenance activities supporting multiple data domains through the creation and maintenance of all SAP Master Records, singular or mass, in local and global applications
Supports the successful execution and testing activities for all Master Data operational projects by organizing, prioritizing, and documenting processes in detail
Maintains current knowledge of business processes and how SAP master data enables those processes and ensures the data and values support ongoing business processes

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
