Job Description
One of our top clients, an upscale Long-Term Care Facility, is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator. The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for Resident Assessment Instrument process, care planning process, and bill for services in the nursing center. The individual will also be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing with directing health related services (in the context of MDS/Care Planning).
MDS Coordinator Responsibilities:
Conduct Pre-Admission Assessments
Maintain current guidelines for Medicare/Medicaid providers
Supervise team in completing Resident Assessment Intrument (MDS, CAA, and CAA Guidelines)
Schedule and certify on time completion of RAI process
Monitors residents health status
Identify any changes and complete re-assessments as needed
MDS Coordinator Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensed Registered Nurse
Experience with CMS Resident Assessment Instrument process
3 years of MDS Experience in a LTC setting (Preferred)
