MDS/ Quality Assurance Nurse RN 10000 Bonus

Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is a senior care campus located in Maple Plain and is hiring an RN to join our team as a MDS/ Quality Assurance Nurse.  In this dual role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.  This position combines the responsibilities of completing MDS assessments as well as performing quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. We're offering a $10,000 bonus!

Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range:  $35 - $45 / hour depending on experience.

MDS/ Quality Assurance Nurse Responsibilities:

• Complete MDS and care planning.
• Complete all documentation for RAI and MDS assessments and observations. 
• Help develop initial and temporary care plans.
• Work in collaboration with Admissions staff, Case Manager and other clinical staff.
• Perform quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with state & federal regulation in all departments.
• Assist in preparation for state and federal surveys.
• Document and maintain paperwork, referral records, and reports.
• Part of nurse call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

MDS/ Quality Assurance Nurse Qualifications: 

• Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• TCU, LTC, and MDS experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong clinical background and knowledge of LTC rules and regulations.
