Meal Site Coordinator

Location: Wooster, OH

Hours: Part-Time- 5 hours a day (Monday-Friday)  (no evenings or weekends)

Compensation: $14.00/ hour

Job Summary

Our Meals on Wheels site coordinators are responsible for assisting at our meal service sites. Employees in this role manage the service, clean-up, and documentation of meals to our clients. This role also serves as backup for other positions (food preparation, packaging, and delivery) as needed. If you are a friendly, service-oriented person with high cleanliness standards, this role is for you! 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meals for home delivery 
• Serve and clean up from meals at congregate sites as delivered from the main kitchen 
• Follow food safety regulations 
• Account for meals and complete reports and paperwork in accordance with agency policy and procedure 
• May deliver meals to client homes when necessary  

Requirements

• One or more years of food service experience  
• A high school diploma or equivalent  
• Demonstrated experience with sanitation regulations 
• Basic computer skills 
• A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and valid car insurance 
• Ability to pass a state background check
