Holiday Market Madison Heights - Meat Clerk
As a Meat Clerk at Holiday Market, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and displaying meat products while ensuring the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut, trim, and package various types of meat according to company standards.
• Ensure all products are labeled correctly with pricing and nutritional information.
• Maintain freshness and quality of all meat products on display.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist customers and team members as needed.
• Assist customers with inquiries and special orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
• Respond to customer requests for specific cuts or types of meat.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a meat department is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation techniques is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Markets's busiest times.
