Meat Seafood Manager

 Summary:

We’re looking for a hands-on, knowledgeable, and people-focused Meat & Seafood Manager to lead our department with expertise and heart. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive sales, inspire your team, and keep quality and freshness top priority. Responsibilities: 

• Lead and train team members to deliver top-notch service and expertly cut products
• Maintain high standards of freshness, safety, cleanliness, and merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory, pricing, and margin goals
• Monitor department financials and drive performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labeling, and health regulations
• Respond to customer inquiries and build lasting relationships
• Perform regular inventory and uphold shrink control measures
• Collaborate with store leadership on promotions and displays

Qualifications and Skills: 

• 3+ years of meat cutting experience; leadership or assistant manager experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of meat and seafood products, cuts, and handling
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
